Size Doesn’t Matter, Hardness Does
For men, the size of their genital organ plays a very important role, especially when it comes to sexual performance. A survey in the United States found that only 55% of men are satisfied with their penis size, even though statistically, only 15% of men actually have issues with their size. According to records in the Journal of Urology, the average penis size in a normal (flaccid) state is around 8.8 – 10 cm, and when erect, it grows to approximately 13 – 14.2 cm.
Many men who do not have a "normal" sized penis often feel that they have a genital abnormality. In fact, out of every 5-6 patients who come in with sexual concerns, many initially express worries about having a small penis. This is a common observation made by Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pramesemara, S.Ked, M.Biomed, Sp.And, an Andrologist at KIH Denpasar.
A different perspective is found among women—many agree with the idea that size doesn’t matter. According to an Andrologist from Airlangga University, 65-85% of women do not consider penis size to be important when engaging in sexual activity.
What actually tends to be a bigger issue is a lack of penile hardness or short erection duration. These conditions often lead to problems, particularly in sexual communication. To clarify this, proper information regarding penile hardness and sufficient erection duration is crucial. A man's penis must be able to enlarge and achieve optimal hardness for sexual activity or vaginal penetration. Additionally, it should be able to maintain an erection for a sufficient duration to allow both the man and his partner to achieve orgasm or optimal sexual satisfaction.

If you are experiencing issues with erection hardness or duration, or if you are still uncertain and confused about the ideal penis size, please consult an Andrologist for proper advice and treatment. Size is not the issue, as long as it functions well and you know how to use it correctly. #HealthyMenCanStand
