In 1987, the Kasih Ibu Hospital Group started as a maternity hospital in Denpasar.  That was the first private hospital in Bali at the time.  To better assist our patients, we converted the hospital into a general hospital in 1991.  We have been developing, updating and improving our hospitals ever since. The Kasih Ibu Group has a reputation for providing effective and outstanding medical care in a modern environment. Over the past 30 years, our group has expanded to four different sites, making it the hospital with the widest reach in Bali. The group’s hospitals include:

  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Denpasar
  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Kedonganan
  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Saba
  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Tabanan

Each hospital has its own core competencies and specialities.  They are all accredited under the National Hospital accreditation scheme (KARS).

  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Denpasar

    This is the original hospital in Denpasar and it has the most advanced diagnostic equipment and IT systems in Bali. This was the first hospital on the island to have a CT Scan and MRI machines and our international division provides care for international tourists and expats. Some of the key highlights include:

    • Accredited under the national hospital accreditation scheme. International accreditation is planned for 2019.
    • Neuro Surgery. The centre has some of the most advanced equipment in Bali. For example, Zeiss Neurosurgery Microscope, CUSA, Ultrasonic assisted cranial tumor removal (CUSA) and Intra Operative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IONM). The neuroscience centre is the referral hub for Bali.
    • Tropical Diseases. The only specialist for tropical medicine in Bali works in Kasih Ibu Hospital Denpasar.
    • Orthopaedic Surgery. A referral centre for trauma cases in Bali and used by many international insurance companies.
    • Haemodialysis. The international division provide dialysis travellers in its own haemodialysis centre. A free hotel pick-up can be arranged.
    • Advanced Radiology. The hospital has advanced diagnostic equipment, as well as some of the most respected radiologists in Bali.

  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Kedonganan

    Kasih Ibu Hospital Kedonganan is located in the popular tourist area of Kuta and is a 50 bed general hospital with a major expansion planned for 2019. Many patients attend here as outpatients from the nearby international hotels. Those who need more advanced care are referred to Kasih Ibu Denpasar. Key highlights include:

    • Accredited under the national hospital accreditation scheme (KARS).
    • Trauma. Primarily provides trauma care.

  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Tabanan

    Kasih Ibu Tabanan is a 70 bed hospital in the Tabanan Regency and is about 20 km north-west of Denpasar and 30 minutes from Tanah Lot. The hospital has advanced diagnostic equipment including an MRI and CT scanner. A complete range of specialists work at this hospital including the only nephrologist in western Bali.

    • Accredited under the national hospital accreditation scheme (KARS).
    • KIH Tabanan has the only nephrologist in western Bali who treats kidneys disorders such as diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
    • Geriatric Care. A large senior population is catered for by a range of specialists
    • Trauma Centre. The main thoroughfare between Bali and Java runs through Tabanan. So, when accidents happen the area, trauma patients are brought to the hospital for treatment

  • Kasih Ibu Hospital Saba

    Kasih Ibu Hospital Saba is located in the Gianyar Regency. It is about 45 minutes from Denpasar and 30 minutes from Ubud. This 150-bed hospital was developed in 2016 and is the most well-equipped hospital in eastern Bali.

    • Accredited under the national hospital accreditation scheme (KARS).
    • Trauma Care. Referral centre for trauma patients in eastern Bali.
    • Dental Centre. Opened in September 2018.
